Although they’re not a New Zealand based business, I think these guys deserve a special mention. Kiwi Movers are a company based in the UK, but they’re New Zealanders who still retain the New Zealand spirit in their business! It was great to read about their background, and you can tell they possess that good old kiwi “know how, can do!” attitude! They also offer a few other services too, like removals and large and small storage which complements their “Man and Van” side of things.
It’s fantastic to see New Zealanders doing well overseas, and with their Man and Van business reaching Fulham, Wandsworth, Battersea and all around London, they’re bound to continue in their success!

Adding to my previous blog post I’ve just done some more research regarding new homes. Looking at “building companies hamilton” I’ve come across Urban Residential Developments, and I’ve gotta say, some of their homes are amazing! Just check out their Serrano Showhome; it looks fantastic! No doubt it’s out of my price range but it’s still good to get some ideas of what I’m after. Slowly but surely I’ll be able to acquire enough information to choose between buying and building.

Searching for “building companies NZ” in Google, I was surprised at how many building companies there actually are in New Zealand. As someone who is currently weighing up the decision to either buy my first home or build an entirely new one, I thought it’d be a good idea to do a bit of research into them. Problem is there’s so many companies I don’t know where to start! On Highmark Home’s site, I’m really loving the strong angular lines of the Monopitch roof in the Homestead series and I’m guessing they could create a custom floor plan for me. Does anyone have any experience with any building companies? Would love to know your thoughts.
